Miracles really do happen - it happened to me! My life has been changed and I will always be grateful! Prior to the day of my miracle, I experienced pure misery for fifty years from constant name-calling and teasing (four-eyes, Coke bottle girl, blind-as-a-bat). I researched and sought out various optometrists around the state, with not much luck.
Finally, my prayers were answered when I was given a referral to Dr. Price's office. A thorough series of eye exams, performed by polite and confident staff, convinced me that everything would be fine. Being a candidate for the lens implant surgery (ICL), the date of the surgery would be November 17, 2011. I had so many emotions going through my head (joy, excitement, worry, and feeling blessed).
On November 11, 2011, the day the miracle took place with the hands of a skilled surgeon, what a beautiful difference in my life. I CAN SEE...I CAN SEE EVERYTHING THAT OTHERS COULD SEE! Praise the Lord and Dr. Price (and his staff). Dr. Price will always have my gratitude and deepest appreciation.

Prior to having my cataracts removed and multifocal lenses implanted, I struggled as I used my eyes for activities I love so much. My art was perhaps the most seriously affected. I could not see skin tones as I was drawing and painting from a model, and I gradually became aware that I could no longer see linear detail. Reading at close distances always required glasses that I was constantly misplacing, and even with correction I still sometimes had to rely on someone else to help me through the fine print. Eventually I had to limit night driving to familiar routes because of the glare of headlights. It seemed that at every turn new and frustrating barriers were appearing.
Now, a month after my second eye surgery, I have 20/20 vision in one eye and better than 20/20 in the other. A bright new world has opened up for me. Colors are true now – no longer clouded by a yellow overlay. I can see skin tones and fine detail as I draw and paint. I haven’t had to wear glasses since the surgery, and I can drive anywhere at night that I wish.
The after-care that Dr. Price’s office supplies has been superb. I have had someone to check in with every step of the way. Day or night my questions have been answered directly and clearly.
I am so grateful for the positive impact this surgery has had on my life, and I recommend without reservation Dr. Price, the other doctors who work with him, and his staff. To have had such a painless operation available is such a blessing.

Dr. Price has perfected corneal transplants to a degree that has permitted me to gain excellent vision. Prior to my left eye transplant I was unable to read without eye strain. I have read many books since and it has opened a new world to me. And as a BIG extra, I am able to drive. It doesn’t get much better than this.

I was referred to Dr. Price by a doctor in Springfield, Illinois because of problems with declining vision and being unable to drive at night because of the large reflections from all the lights. After being examined at Price Vision Group I was told why I was having the problems. I was diagnosed with Fuchs’ Dystrophy. My first appointment was March 15, 2010 and the next week I had surgery on my right eye with the DMEK procedure. Within 3 days I was seeing colors that I had not seen in years! About 5 weeks later I had the same surgery on my left eye.
My vision has never been this good. I am more than happy with my experience with Dr. Price and Price Vision Group. Dr. Price’s support staff is excellent. Dr. Kelley is a great doctor and very easy to talk to. His techs are wonderful. They put you at ease and are very knowledgeable. They explain everything to you. Dr. Price’s office staff is exceptional. They go out of their way to accommodate you.
It turned out that by brother also had Fuchs’ Dystrophy. He came to see Dr. Price and now he can see as never before. I will highly recommend Dr. Price and Price Vision to everyone.

My husband Jack and I first came to Price Vision Group because Jack had been diagnosed years earlier with “cornea problems”. Within minutes of his first appointment he was diagnosed with Fuchs’ Dystrophy. One week later his vision in one eye was 20/20 and he was seeing colors he had not seen for over 20 years. One of the first things Jack said to me was, “I didn’t know your eyes were so blue!” Dr. Price had used the DMEK procedure to transplant Jack’s cornea with a donor cornea. After he had the second eye done Jack had 20/20 vision for the first time in 50 years.
We were very impressed with the people at Price Vision – from the front office staff, the technical staff, and the doctors to the surgical team. Not only are they friendly, but their high level of knowledge is very comforting.
Naturally, when it was time to have my cataracts removed and lens implants, I wouldn’t go anywhere but Price Vision. We live 4 hours from Indianapolis, but gladly make the drive.
We share our news when we can and consequently, one of Jack’s brothers and another family member have since had their vision saved by Dr. Price and his team of miracle workers.
How do we ever thank you all!?

After a year, LASIK is still the best money ever spent and has been life changing for me! Being in the medical field and never having surgery before, I was so nervous and anxious. I had been thinking about LASIK for a few years. I finally called Price Vision Group after being referred by a friend and upon meeting Dr. Price he instantly made me feel so comfortable and I knew he would take care of my eyes. He is so confident and knowledgeable. I hated wearing contacts and carrying them when traveling. I hated not being able to read in bed and I didn't feel comfortable wearing glasses when working out. I still can't believe I have 20/20 vision and haven't seen this well in 20 years! I'm so happy to have found Dr. Price and his staff is amazing!

It’s been approximately ten months since my eye surgery. My eye tested at 20/20 last week. I decided it is time to thank you for your excellent work. You have changed my life in so many ways. I can actually see the clock when I wake in the morning. I can see everything in my classroom without having to search for my readers. I am able to read the menu at restaurants for my husband who usually forgets his glasses.
Thank you for your care and concern. I’m telling everyone where my surgery was performed.

This Thanksgiving I have so much to be thankful for, and I simply cannot thank you enough. It’s been one week since my cataract surgery and I've never known just how much I've been missing, not only have you given my sight back but you've changed my vision in life as well! A huge thank you simply is not enough.
As a professional photographer, I have a series of images I captured over the summer but have never processed, this image is the first from that series that shall be titled "Priceless" this is the first image I've processed with my new vision. Have an awesome Holiday Season to the entire staff at Price Vision Group.

I’d been wearing glasses or contacts since I was in the third grade. When I had my first eye exam, all I could see was a blurry black spot where the giant ‘E’ was supposed to be, and my vision continued to deteriorate year after year until my mid-twenties. Even though it was a pain to wear contacts, I was completely terrified of LASIK surgery. I probably wouldn’t have even considered having the procedure had my contacts not become unbearable to wear. I had gotten used to using eye drops every few hours and didn’t even think about how annoying it was. The last straw came when my husband and I were on a snorkeling trip in the Caribbean and half my time in the water was spent messing with my contacts trying to get them to sit in my eyes properly and not get blurry. We got back on the boat and I said to him, “I’m making an appointment for LASIK as soon as we get back home!”
My brother had gone to Dr. Price for LASIK surgery about 10 years ago and walked out with better than 20/20 vision, so I wasn’t interested in even talking to anyone else. At my first appointment I had all of the tests done and was relieved to find that I was a good candidate for the surgery. After all of the tests were done, I sat down to talk to Hillary about financing and told her how nervous I was about the procedure. She had just had the procedure a few months before and was wonderfully reassuring, telling me what to expect and how happy she was she had finally done it herself.
Everyone at Price Vision Group was wonderful, both on the day of my procedure and at all of the follow-up appointments. I was very nearsighted and extremely afraid of LASIK, but I couldn’t be happier with the outcome – better than 20/20 vision; all I can say now is that I wish I had done it years ago!
I’m amazed every morning when I wake up and can see the alarm clock without wearing glasses or contacts. I can’t thank Dr. Price and everyone at Price Vision Group enough for the wonderful work they do!
