Dr. Francis W. Price, Jr. is an internationally recognized ophthalmic surgeon. He has been named as one of the top physicians in the country for corneal disease and transplantation by THE BEST DOCTORS IN AMERICA.

He is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Notre Dame and is a 1977 graduate of Indiana University Medical School, where he also completed his residency in ophthalmology. Dr. Price completed a fellowship in corneal and external disease at Tulane University. He has served as a principal investigator or medical advisor for studies on ophthalmic medications and devices, as well as surgical procedures including cornea transplants and Excimer lasers. Not only is Dr. Price a prominent eye doctor, he is also a teacher, lecturer and inventor holding U.S. patents for special devices used in ophthalmic surgery.

Dr. Price is the first surgeon in Indiana to be accredited to implant AlphaCor, the first internationally approved artificial cornea implant. Dr. Price performed the first-of-a-kind surgery on March 24 at St. Vincent Indianapolis Hospital. The device provides a viable alternative to patients who reject human cornea tissue transplants and have no other options to improve or regain vision.

Dr. Kathy Kelley is another doctor you will find at Price Vision Group. She is a graduate of the Indiana School of Optometry. She specializes in the care and management of cornea and anterior segment disease, refractive surgery and difficult contact lens fittings.

Here at Price Vision Group, Dr. Faye Peters provides patients with preoperative and postoperative care for refractive surgery, and participates in the care of cornea and anterior segment disease patients. She is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Optometry.
